WHO AND WHAT IS SECRET IDENTITY?

Now in our fifth year of providing the comic book and gaming worlds with 'Solid Gold Ear Candy'! It's Secret identity!!!!

Secret Identity
is a weekly podcast hosted by Brian LeTendre and Matt "Matman" Herring. The origins of the show go back to when Brian and Matt met at a (shocker) comic book store. A friendship developed around Sci Fi Friday Night and Battlestar Galactica. As that particular season ended, the boys decided they needed to do something. After all their wives gave them Friday nights, and they couldn't give it back!

Enter Secret Identity!

The show hasn't changed too much over the years, but the format has been tweaked a bit here and there.  The show is broken up into two 70 minute (or so) shows. No,
you DO NOT need an iPod to enjoy the delicious ear candy. You can listen from your computer or download the file and save it for a later time. Heck, you can even click here and listen to the show on the embedded player at the site! We make it so easy!

Here is a breakdown of each show's format:

Secret Identity (posted each Friday)

Download of the Week
- We pick the city with the most downloads and tell you a little something about it. Instant history lesson! Learn as you listen.

News - What's happening at the site and around the world of geek. Comic book news, reviews and interviews with some of the best and brightest.

Reviews - We review several comics from each week's new releases. Brian and Matman break it down and keep it fun.

Out of the Long Box - A review of a comic or series from a long, long time ago. One of the most popular segments in the show.

Listener Mail / Board Chatter - We talk about what you have to say and some of the threads and posts on the Message Boards.

The Second Helping (posted each Wednesday)

Movies and TV News - The title says it all. We talk news and make silly comments

Boob Tube Blitzkrieg - Quick reviews of what we're watching week to week, both movies and TV!

Saturday Morning Special - Like 'Out Of The Longbox', this segment relives and review a cartoon or show from Saturday mornings past. Another fun and very popular segment we absolutely love!

New Releases - This week in new comics, games and movies with random comments.

Creator Spotlight - Exclusive audio interviews with professionals from comics, gaming, movies, TV and music. Hear the voices behind the work!

The Second Helping also features these alternating segments...

Action Point / Counterpoint - Game news and reviews of all kinds! From pen and paper RPG's to the latest console and PC releases, we talk about it. Co-hosted by Max Saltonstall and Alana Abbott.

INDIEpendence Day - We step away from the world of Marvel and DC

ANIMEniac - Sarah the Anime Librarian and the world of Anime and Manga!

Tech Shmeck - An everyman look at hardware and equipment!

Plastic Fantastic - Lets talk about molded plastic, paint and (sometimes) cloth!

The Secret Identity Mondo List of Creators We've Interviewed
